About Me
I am a registered and insured home cake maker, based in Norton, Malton, North Yorkshire and have been working in the catering industry since leaving education in 2000.
Cakes are my passion, i love making, baking and designing all things cake! I enjoy new challenges and working on new themes with clients to get my creative flair flowing.
After getting married in 2012, i discovered just how expensive wedding cakes can be and resolved to put my skills to use by ensuring everyone has access to affordable yet beautiful cakes.

Basic Information
All my cakes are homemade, free from preservatives and made to order.
Sponge cakes: Please allow at least 1 weeks notice when ordering, or more time if possible!
I recommend that sponge cakes and cupcakes are eaten within 3 days of collection/delivery. They should be stored in a cool dry place in the box provided. Please do not store fondant covered/ icing covered cakes in the fridge. This causes the icing to melt, loose it’s shape and become very sticky!
Fruit cakes: Fruit cakes last much longer than sponge. If you would like to order a fruit cake, please allow as much notice as possible to ensure the fruit has time to mature for the best possible results. My fruit cakes contain nuts (ground almonds) and will have a marzipan layer. Please note i soak the fruit in brandy before baking and also “feed” the cake with brandy after baking.
Allergen Information
If you have a food allergy or special dietry requirement, please inform me of this during consultation before placing your order.
Please be advised that the fondant icing i use, is produced in a factory that also uses nuts, therefore all my cakes may contain traces of nuts.
For all other allergy information, please don’t hesitate to ask.
Pricing
I do not like to set specific prices as all my cakes are individual from simple yet cheap creations to the more elaborate expensive designs, they are all tailored to my clients budget.
Prices start from £40 upwards, dependent upon individual preferences and requirements.
Transporting Cakes
Please take care when transporting your cake! some designs can be quite fragile and will require a slow and steady drive to there final destination!
All cakes do come in there own box, and should be kept flat at all times.
Please do not transport cakes on car seats. This causes them to slide, slope and tiered cakes may collapse! I recommend bringing a old towel to place in the footwell or boot of your car. Please make sure there are no objects around that could fall, slide or bash the cake box.
Please note that once the cake has been collected or delivered, i am not liable for any damages.
Delivery
Collection is preferred, however i can deliver within a reasonable distance from Malton, North Yorkshire. Please let me know when ordering if you require delivery.
Payment
After consultation a non refundable deposit of 50% is required before any work will commence, payment is accepted by cash, bank transfer or Paypal, with the remainder of the balance due upon collection or the day before delivery.
